The Worst of All Possible Worlds
The first and only podcast bringing you weekly case studies in the pop culture of a dying empire
Each week the hosts, in the feed's own words, "dissect an artifact of popular culture, breaking down how its narrative choices reflect or subvert the reactionary political project" — games, movies, theater, evangelical media. Recent subjects run from The Hurt Locker to Undertale to VeggieTales. Self-produced and Patreon-funded, the show has been going since 2021 and stood at 288 episodes on 2026-09-18.

Hosts (as the show publishes them)
The site publishes three names and their handles and no bio text (there is no About page). The feed's artist field reads "Josh Boerman, A.J. Ditty, and Brian Alford", and the episode credits add what each does:
- Josh Boerman — named as the interviewer on the show's INTERVIEW episodes ("Josh sat down with Ben Collins").
- Brian Alford — "Episode edited by Brian Alford" in the credits.
- A.J. Ditty — "Interstitial edited by A.J. Ditty" in the credits; writes the scripted interstitials.
The credits close "Produced by Josh Boerman, A.J. Ditty, and Brian Alford."
